On the zoom meeting on Wednesday April 1st, we discussed the rules around furloughing and furloughed staff:
Furloughing and the 80%
Are you topping up to 100%
How many staff have you furloughed
Who have you furloughed, who have you not?
When did you start furlouging?
What can you share with others to make it easier?
When and how do you get the money
Which staff eligible?
Volunteering when Furloughed: Furlough for Good
Would it help if the rules were changed so staff could volunteer back for their charities, say 50% - 60% of the time. Would this help? We understand it would make things complicated re HR, but is it worth it to keep projects and development going during shutdown?
