This post is based within the CAT Engagement Department which delivers a wide range of activities using the CAT site. The post holder will be responsible for engaging audiences with CAT’s woodlands, habitats and rich biodiversity, with the goal of inspiring them to engage with, and take action in response to the biodiversity emergency. The audiences include visitors to site, educational groups and other learners. Activities will include delivering site tours, educational activities and short courses making the most of the varied ecosystems on the CAT site.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys sharing their passion and knowledge for wildlife and ecology. Ideally the post holder will have practical woodland management skills.
When not delivering these activities the post holder will work as a member of the Woodland & Water Resources team within CAT’s Estates Department, helping to deliver the sites woodland maintenance program and maintaining the sites private water supply and sewage systems.
