About the role

The Community Fundraising and Outreach Coordinator will work closely with community groups and third sector organisations in coordinating and delivering an outreach programme that meets and supports the needs of our regional communities. Xplore! works in partnership with a diverse range of community groups to take science to all. Key aspects of this role will be building and maintaining relationships with community groups and working with them to raise funds for and co-create new science engagement opportunities.

About you

Would you like to help us to engage with our local communities through science?

We are looking for someone who has a keen interest in science communication and enjoys working with the third sector and is creative. You will have a background in STEM engagement or community work, possess excellent organisational skills and be able to deliver programmes on time and within budget.

Xplore! celebrates diversity and welcomes applications from all backgrounds. The ability to speak Welsh or another locally spoken language is highly desirable for this role.
