Centre for Life are looking to hire a Head of Schools and Community Engagement
The Centre for Life are looking to recruit an innovative and versatile leader experienced in informal learning settings, science engagement and community development to develop and deliver a unique, high-quality schools and community programme. Helping to diversify their audience and improve their reach, you will head a team that inspires young people and communities to develop their attitudes, skills, and aspirations through STEM engagement. You will be an outward looking manager who works collaboratively and has the drive to make their new programme exceptional. You will relish challenges and be proactive in your approach to developing relationships with stakeholders and networks to help build on our reputation as place for innovative science engagement.
Working with the Science Engagement Director, to lead the strategy and teams to develop and deliver a unique and high-quality schools and community programme, diversifying our audience and inspiring young people and communities to develop their attitudes, skills, and aspirations through science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) engagement.
To lead partnerships, projects and an increasing shift to blended learning to enhance our offer, our commitment to access and inclusion.
To ensure programmes are audience focused and evaluated, and best practise in community engagement is embedded across the organisation.
