Research Assistant: Fungus-Plant Interactions

£26,500 - £28,912 per annum pro rata, depending on skills and experience
An exciting opportunity for a research assistant position to join the research groups of Drs Laura M. Suz and Prof. Martin Bidartondo for a period of 24 months in the Department of Comparative Plant and Fungal Biology at RBG Kew. The post holder will support the fieldwork and laboratory work within the Fungus-Plant Interactions programme, particularly to generate and analyse ectomycorrhizal diversity and distribution data from long-term intensively monitored forest plots across Europe. This person will provide guidance to less experienced members of the research group, including technical staff, students and visitors.
