As part of the Operation Earth project, funded by Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and run by ASDC, this campaign will raise awareness of the NERC funded events and activities happening in and around participating science centres and museums in the run up to, during and after COP26.
Science centres and museums will invite local MPs, Mayors and NERC scientists to come along and meet the young families, community groups and public taking part in the climate engagement activities, giving them the opportunity to talk and understand how people are feeling about climate science and what's happening in the local area.
These are the ten science centres and museums taking part in the campaign:
National Space Centre The Operation Earth Roadshow is part of the National Space Centre’s Community Engagement Programme. You are invited to explore the fascinating world of environmental science through Operation Earth. Get involved in exciting hands-on activities, experiments and our Earthy show.
