Volunteer (PhD student)

Meg has worked with the ASDC team supporting on projects with school engagement data analysis, and conference organisation.

Meg is a Neuropharmacology PhD student in the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Bath. She has worked in a variety of lab-based roles in academic contexts before starting her PhD with South West Biosciences Doctoral Training Partnership. As part of her course, she volunteered at We the Curious in collaboration with ASDC – conducting research on exhibition design and compiling and analysing data from ASDC member surveys. She is keen to make science communication accessible to the public so has been involved in the organisation and facilitation of several conferences and festivals including this years Pint of Science events.
