Partnerships and Programmes (freelance)

Sarah Dellar joined the ASDC team on a six month secondment from Wellcome as our Director of Strategic Partnerships. Recently, she has managed the Inspiring Science Fund at Wellcome, having worked in the science and discovery sector as an explainer and presenter in the early days of @Bristol (before it became We The Curious).

For over 20 years, Sarah has worked in a variety of roles in science engagement; for science centres, national museums, zoos and other cultural and science communication organisations, before moving to Wellcome to run the ISF scheme and then manage their legacy of culture and society funding programmes.

She has presented engaging science to people of all ages and backgrounds; developed exhibitions, interpretation and learning programmes; advocated for audiences; consulted on strategies for accessibility and inclusion; and built collaborative partnership links across organisations and communities of practice.
