Scarlett Li-Williams
Membership and Operations Officer
Scarlett is the Membership and Operations Officer for the ASDC. She manages and maintains the ASDC membership network and assists in the operational running of ASDC.
Scarlett joined ASDC in September 2025, with several years of experience as a multi-hyphenate science communicator. Her career has included working as a Science Communicator at the University of Cambridge and as a Space Communications/Public Programmes Presenter at the National Space Centre. Her work also includes working as a freelance science communicator.
Scarlett has experience in video production, graphic design, digital content creation, project and event management, and social media management. She has worked with a wide range of STEMM organisations, including charities, for-profits, research institutes, and universities. Scarlett also has experience in the education sector, particularly in supporting teacher networks and professional development, as well as delivering STEM initiatives in schools.
Her background is in genetics, environmental sciences, and molecular and cell biology - with a love for all living things! However, space science is a close second love, with a particular interest in astrobiology.
