Community Engagement and Outreach Assistant, Techniquest

We’re looking for a friendly, energetic individual with a passion for public engagement to support our busy summer outreach programme. Whether you’re experienced in working with families and children or looking to build your skills in informal education, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in your community.

You’ll be supporting the delivery of hands-on science workshops and public engagement activities, working directly with children, families, and community members in a range of outreach settings including libraries, festivals, and community venues. This role involves helping participants complete engaging STEM-based tasks, ensuring everyone has a high-quality and inclusive experience.

You’ll also play a key role in setting up and packing down sessions, collecting feedback, and representing Techniquest in the community.
