Full-time role: Community Partnerships Producer, The Technicians Gallery
The Technicians Gallery is a once in a generation project: a free, interactive space for young people aged 11–16 that celebrates and demystifies the work of diverse technicians across the North West. Building on the success of the Technicians Gallery at the Science Museum, it will offer a locally rooted, nationally significant learning experience designed to amplify and grow interest in technical career pathways — a gallery that is both inspiring and genuinely useful in shaping life choices and opportunities.
As Community Partnerships Producer, you will work closely with the project team to develop and nurture partnerships with young people, educators and industry. Your insights will help shape interpretation and content across the new gallery and its live programme. You will plan and deliver a range of audience focused activities as part of the Technicians activity plan, and, with support from the Schools and Skills Manager, play a key role in connecting community and industry partners with our wider schools, skills and public programmes. You will be a visible advocate for both the project and our partners, helping to build relationships and practices that sustain the gallery and its live programmes long into the future.
Part-time role: Community Partnerships Producer, Wonderlab

Your insights will help shape interpretation and content across the new gallery and its live programme. You will plan and deliver a range of audience focused activities as part of the activity plan, and, with support from the Senior Learning & Partnerships Manager, play a key role in connecting our collaborators with our wider schools, skills and public programmes. You will be a visible advocate for both the project and our partners, helping to build relationships and practices that sustain the gallery and its live programmes long into the future.
