The Natural History Museum has a bold strategy, has declared a planetary emergency and has set out our mission to create advocates for the planet. To create advocates for the planet, we need to engage and involve the widest possible audience.
The Learning team creates opportunities for and supports young people aged 0-25 to understand, connect, care for and advocate for the planet. The Creative Producer: Access and Inclusion is a newly expanded role that will lead the development and delivery of inclusive and accessible creative programming.
This role is crucial to realising our aim and we are committed to improving accessibility across our programme. Key areas of work include the coordination and continued delivery of our externally funded Dawnosaurs Programme, working across the Learning team to improve programme accessibility, expand our resources and work towards the development of SEND specific programming.
The role will also support and input into the development of new opportunities and provision for our community programme and young people aged 16 and up through our emerging youth programme, working with local organisations and beyond to draw up what this offer could look like.
This is a fixed term appointment for three years, until the end of August 2028. The post will report to the Schools and Families Programme Manager.
