Lead the Royal Institution's bold public programming strategy to inspire and diversify global science audiences through live events and innovative digital content.
As Director of Content and Programmes, you will shape the strategic direction of all The Ri’s public engagement and education activities. You will lead the transition to an integrated content creator model, building ongoing engagement across multiple platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic leadership
Developing a cohesive “content strategy” that integrates live events with digital storytelling to diversify audiences and increase our reach.
The Christmas Lectures
Acting as Executive Producer for the world famous annual series, ensuring scientific excellence and long-term digital relevance.
National impact
Overseeing the growth of national schools’ programmes, including Masterclasses and youth summits.
Innovation and sustainability
Developing sustainable revenue models, such as digital subscriptions and advertising, to support The Ri’s public mission.
Team development
Leading and motivating multi-disciplinary teams across public programming, schools and digital content.
