Catalyst Science Discovery Centre and Museum is seeking to procure an Education Consultant/Consultancy as part of the Delivery Phase of their NHLF Synergy project.
These services will comprise the development and evaluation of a new heritage education offer for schools, which coincides with the improvement of the gallery space in the Museum and complements Catalyst’s existing education programme.
The consultant will be required to develop 3 schemes of work aimed at:
- KS1 years 1&2
- KS2 (lower) years 3&4
- KS2 (upper) years 5&6
Each scheme will be deliverable over half a term, or 5 units of work, with one of the units being a gallery tour and workshop at Catalyst. These workshops will be delivered by members of the Catalyst education team. This format has been developed through focus groups with local teachers.
