Manager, Public Engagement (Maternity Cover), Royal Academy of Engineering

The Royal Academy of Engineering is seeking a proactive and highly organised Public Engagement Professional as maternity cover to deliver the public engagement components of the Academy’s 2030 strategy.

You will be joining a small and friendly team who work to support engineers and public engagement professionals across the country to deliver innovative and impactful public engagement activities across the UK, as well as supporting the Academy’s own public engagement initiatives.

In this role, you’ll manage the Ingenious public engagement grants scheme and the Ingenious Follow on Fund, which support public engagement with engineering projects across the UK and develops engineers’ communication skills. You’ll play a key part in increasing the impact of Academy campaigns through targeted engagement activities, in particular leading the development and delivery of the Academy’s main public event Innovation Late.
