This is an exciting opportunity to support and grow the Royal Institution’s nationally renowned Masterclass Programme, with a particular focus on the North of England, North Wales and Scotland.
As part of the Ri Masterclass team, you will help coordinate our national network of Masterclasses, supporting dedicated local contributors to deliver and organise our series of workshops for young people, covering topics in mathematics, computer science and STEM more broadly.
You will help train new contributors, including school students delivering Masterclasses to younger pupils, and will develop and deliver your own workshops and other support resources.
You will maintain and develop relationships with new and existing partners across the region to help support programme growth and sustainability, and help improve the reach and extend the impact of the programme to more young people in diverse communities.
Regular travel and term-time weekend work is required; see below for more details.
This is a permanent, part-time role (21 hours per week). The ideal candidate will be based in the North of England, North Wales or Scotland and work remotely, with regular travel across the North of England, North Wales and Scotland, and occasional travel across the UK and to the Royal Institution in Central London (approx. once a month).
