Non-Executive Board Member, STEM Learning

STEM Learning Ltd is now looking to strengthen its board to provide the support and challenge necessary to ensure our organisation can achieve its vision. We are looking for a new independent board member with experience in the area of the tech or financial sector, and with an interest in STEM industries and education.

The role of Non-Executive Director supports the development of the organisation in terms of delivery, reach, and helping to influence the wider environment (including policy where appropriate). Board Members are expected to attend three formal meetings a year (usually held at the National STEM Learning Centre in York) along with a strategy day. Additionally, Board Members are invited to contribute via email, telephone, and video conference at various times during the year, alongside attending a number of events. Independent Non-Executive Directors will be appointed in a personal capacity for a fixed three-year term, reviewed on an annual basis, and with an option to extend for a further three years.
