Centre of the Cell is an informal biomedical science centre, the first in the world to be situated within a working laboratory, the Blizard institute at Queen Mary University of London.
Centre of the Cell’s ambition is to be the best place to learn about biomedical sciences, engaging with the communities of East London and beyond. We engage with schools and the public through activities in our iconic STEM Pod and Neuron Pod learning environments to deliver our key areas of work.
Job purpose
To be the first point of contact for visitors to Centre of the Cell ensuring smooth operation of our programme of shows and events. The post holder will deliver high-quality educational sessions onsite, through outreach and at other community settings. To support the development, delivery and evaluation of activities and engagements with the schools and groups with whom we interact with, alongside collecting feedback, analysing and reporting, so that we can evaluate and continually improve upon the service we provide.
