Schools Learning Producer, Royal Museums Greenwich

If you are passionate about the role Museums play in the learning journeys of children and young people, then this is the role for you.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to work with schools and teachers to support and inspire collections-based learning at the National Maritime Museum and the Queen’s House. You will lead on the development, delivery and resourcing of historical enquiry programmes from early years to post 16, giving all school learners a high-quality experience that is unique to our sites. You will also nurture relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that audience voice is embedded into everything we do.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of engaging children and young people using museum collections and a great understanding of the needs of school learners and teachers. Effective time management and written and verbal presentation skills are also required. This role involves working with histories relating to empire and the transatlantic trade of enslaved people so experience of culturally sensitive approaches to exploring these topics is essential. It’s a fast-paced and rewarding role that puts learning at the centre of the Museum.
