Senior Supporter Engagement Manager (12 Months Maternity Cover), Science Museum

Can you help us create meaningful experiences that inspire supporters to build long-term partnerships with the Science Museum Group?

As Senior Supporter Engagement Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of supporter engagement and stewardship programmes that help deepen relationships, strengthen donor retention, and support income growth across the Science Museum Group. 

You will work closely with fundraisers, communications colleagues, and stakeholders across the organisation to create meaningful supporter journeys that recognise the generosity of our funders and demonstrate the impact of their support. From bespoke experiences for major supporters to group-wide stewardship initiatives, you will ensure our engagement activity is creative, consistent, and aligned with fundraising objectives.  

You will partner with fundraising colleagues to develop engagement plans for prospects and supporters, oversee supporter communications and recognition programmes, and help deliver compelling fundraising collateral, including cases for support, stewardship reports, and impact-led communications. You will also manage stewardship budgets, track performance and return on investment, and continuously seek opportunities to enhance the supporter experience.  

Leading the Supporter Engagement Executive, you will play an important role in developing processes and approaches that ensure supporters receive timely recognition, meaningful benefits, and engaging opportunities to connect with the work of the Science Museum Group. You will collaborate with colleagues across museums and departments, bringing people together to create memorable supporter experiences and communications that inspire long-term partnership.
