ASDC seek funds and partnerships to create and develop strategic science engagement programmes that promote the latest science, technology, innovation and research across our membership. ASDC members are invited to participate in these programmes.

Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) Public Engagement Reaction Awards Open to submissions year round for timely projects in response to new discoveries or heightened public awareness linked to STFC science and technology. Maximum award £5000
Black Environment Network (BEN) Ethnic Minorities Award Scheme for Environmental Projects (EMAS) Open to submissions year round for small grants (maximum award £500) for projects concerning the environment and involving people from ethnic minorities. Will also offer advice and contacts for grant seekers if requested.
Engineering Education Grant Scheme Call opens 12th July 2021, deadline 1st October 2021. Standard applications can receive grants of up to £5000, however a small number of awards are available up to £15,000
Esmee Fairbairn Foundation Open to expressions of interest year round, will consider unrestricted funding and funding for core costs as well as projects as long as linked to the Foundation’s aims. Responses to expression of interest take up to 4 weeks. Funding amounts are discretionary.
