The ASDC project team has awarded grants to 22 science and discovery centres and museums to run the Our World From Space programme, a two-year national STEM programme exploring the relevance of UK space science for the future health and sustainability of our home planet.
The programme is majority funded by the UK Space Agency, with additional funding from the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), part of UK Research and Innovation.

We are thrilled to be working with the UK Space Agency and twenty two of our science and discovery centres across the UK, to inspire and involve young people and families with the relevance of UK space science and its far-reaching impacts - not only for our lives today - but for the sustainable future of our home planet"
The science centres and museums running Our World From Space programmes are; Aberdeen Science Centre, Armagh Observatory and Planetarium, Cambridge Science Centre, Cosmos Planetarium, Dynamic Earth, Dundee Science Centre, Exeter Science Centre, Glasgow Science Centre, Life Science Centre, The Living Rainforest, National Space Centre, Oxford University Museum of Natural History, Royal Museums Greenwich, Science Oxford, Science Skills Academy, STEM Discovery Centre, Techniquest, The Observatory Science Centre, Thinktank, Wonderseekers, Winchester Science Centre, W5 and Xplore! Science Discovery Centre.
The projects include interactive workshops for schools and community groups, planetarium shows, outdoor activities, CPD experiences for teachers, Meet the Expert sessions, and local events including career fairs. Find out more about each of the projects on the Our World From Space project page.
