Hassan Joudi

Hassan Joudi

Senior Pre-Construction Manager, Innova

Hassan studied Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London and currently works for Innova Renewable Energy as a Chartered Engineer in the Power Generation sector. He is involved in the delivery of major infrastructure projects that support the energy transition to net zero. He believes passionately in the importance of effective public communication of science & engineering in our increasingly technology-focused world. Hassan was also the youngest ever Office Bearer to be elected to serve in the leadership team of the Muslim Council of Britain and continues to advocate for the role of young people as a driving force for positive change in society.

Manifesto

Science & discovery centres across the UK are touching the lives of millions of members of the public every year. I want to support ASDC's network in further unlocking the power of the association to be a strong voice for the sector, running impactful advocacy campaigns and acting as an internal think tank to keep our members ahead of the curve. I am passionate about informal STEM learning, youth mentoring and creating opportunities for disadvantaged groups in society so that all may benefit. And being from an ethnic minority background and young demographic myself, I am committed to widening the diversity of the groups we serve, and creating a space where everyone in the ASDC family can contribute and make a real difference.

What I bring

I bring over a decade of project development & delivery experience from the private sector, combined with governance, media & policy experience from third sector and community-based organisations at a national level.
