Exhibit at ASDC26
Put your brand at the heart of UK science engagement
Exhibit at the ASDC Conference 2026 | Techniquest, Cardiff Bay, Wales
The ASDC Conference is where the Informal Science Learning sector comes to connect, collaborate and shape what’s next in the world of STEM, offering a powerful platform for organisations working in the science centres and museum ecosystem.
For two days, the UK’s science and discovery centre community come together under one roof, and for the first time we’ll be in Wales at Techniquest in Cardiff, a landmark venue synonymous with innovation, discovery and hands-on inspiration which this year celebrates it’s 40th anniversary!
Why exhibit at the ASDC Conference?
The theme for this year is Who cares about science? An excellent year to come onboard and be part of the conversations with the people who care about science and are passionate about the future of public engagement in science.
This is a unique opportunity to meet face to face with senior leaders, practitioners and decision makers from science centres, museums, eco-attractions and university and research-led public engagement departments across the UK. The conference programme is curated by the ASDC team, with submissions from experts around the world all coming together to influence the future of science engagement. View the programme from last year's conference to see the eminent keynote speakers who led the conversations and the types of workshops and sessions happening throughout the event.
- Showcase your products, services and ideas (extra space is available for large equipment or demos)
- Time to build meaningful relationships with new clients both during the day and at the evening event
- Get real insight into sector priorities and challenges
- Position your brand as a trusted partner within this national science engagement network
- Be part of the conversation on the future of science engagement
The ASDC Conference is the highlight of the year for our delegates. Science communicators and public engagement professionals love networking and talking to people - meeting exhibitors in-person is a key part of what makes the event such a success. The exhibition area is the place where participants go at every break between sessions for refreshments, providing time and space for conversations as well as being highly visible to all delegates.
Together with the event team, we design the exhibitor experience to maximise visibility and connection. Whether you’re launching something new, strengthening relationships or testing ideas with the sector, there will be many opportunities to engage with delegates throughout the course of this high energy event.
Join the organisations shaping the future of science engagement
Exhibiting at the ASDC Conference 2026 puts you right at the centre of the conversation about STEM learning, inclusion, sustainability, research and innovation. Exhibitors typically include exhibition and experience designers, digital and technology innovators, and learning and engagement specialists working across informal STEM education. Delegates are also keen to meet with visitor experience, retail and operational providers, media and content platforms who bring fresh thinking and new cost-effective ways of working. We also welcome architects, capital project and infrastructure partners looking to work with science centres and museums, with a particular focus on sustainability and designing for the circular economy.

“It was a pleasure to represent STEM Learning UK at my first Association for Science and Discovery Centres conference, which brought together organisations playing a strategic role in the nation’s engagement with science. I had the opportunity to share best practice with colleagues, where we discussed how our online events – Mars Day and Protecting Our Planet Day – reached up to 180,000 people, inspiring young audiences through the context of space.”

Delegates from the 2025 Conference at The National Science and Media Museum shared their biggest takeaways from the event:
“The emphasis of the importance of organisations collaborating to ensure the success of our industry”“The conference is always energising and gives me hope that it's not just us facing the struggles that we're facing - and that other centres also have the same priorities and are striving for the same goals we are.”
“Creating legacy from engagement work is essential if as a sector we are to achieve long term benefits.”
“ASDC remains a key driver of important, sector defining conversations and motivations.”
