The ASDC CEO Awayday is an opportunity for CEOs of science and discovery centres from within the membership to come together with their peers and discuss strategy, financial challenges, sustainability and new ways of working.
This year's event is in-person, hosted by Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh. The agenda includes sessions on funding landscapes, data trends in the sector and evidencing and articulating impact, as well as a keynote address from Steph Wright. Steph is CEO of Our AI Collective and former head of the Scottish AI Alliance, and will be speaking on Challenging the AI narrative.
Delegates will also enjoy opportunities for networking over refreshments and a tour of Dynamic Earth. There will also be a network meal the night before.

Steph Wright, CEO/MD and Co-Founder, Our AI Collective CIC
Steph has a diverse background ranging from astrophysics to genomics in academia, film & TV, and the third sector.
A leader and advocate for ethical, inclusive and responsible AI, she was instrumental in the development and delivery of Scotland’s first national AI strategy. Co-Founder/CEO of Our AI Collective, Steph was recognised as one of the 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics and one of the Top 10 Women in Tech in Scotland in 2023, and was named in the 2025 Digital Leaders AI 100 UK list.
She was also awarded the 2024 DataIQ Award for Data & AI For Good Champion.
