Destination Space 3 content calls

The UK Space Agency is funding a short extension to Destination Space 3 working with centres who have previously delivered both Destination Space and Operation Earth. As part of this project ASDC will be hosting 3 content calls relating to the Destination Space 3 topics, which are also open to the rest of the ASDC network to attend.

Spaceports

Friday 9th December, 10.30 - 11.30am: an update from Spaceport Cornwall after their first launch (expected during November) from Dave Pollard, Spaceport Cornwall's Outreach and Education Manager.

Space for Climate

Thursday 15th December, 2.00 - 3.30pm: Catherine Fitzsimons, Outreach Officer for NCEO (National Centre for Earth Observation) returns to keep us up to date on NCEO science using satellite data for understanding climate and environmental science, as well as sharing education and outreach case studies and a quiz.

James Webb Space Telescope

Tuesday 20th December, 10 - 11am: A round up of JWST's first year of science since its launch last Christmas.
