Should you wish to print these cards out yourself, please use the printing instructions.

The resources for the adult dialogue activities are on this page. The majority of the resources are cards for you to print out and laminate. There are two different sets of cards:

1. Pre-printed and laminated cards held at ASDC’s office.

  • These cards have also been made available online should you want to download and print your own copies.

2. Materials for you to print yourselves, namely:

  • Task outlines. These will help you understand how to run the event.
  • Printed materials. You will need to print these out to run the event. Some pages will only need printing once; other pages will need to be printed each time you run an event.

There is also a PowerPoint presentation called ‘The science bit’. This includes the different sounds to play to your visitors:

  • Nice or nasty – someone vomiting and a baby laughing
  • Environment – a motorway and a waterfall
  • Consonant and dissonant
  • Waves (periodicity and randomness)
  • Chimes (identification)
