Lightning Talk: On your terms: Giving people the choice to engage with STEM in community spaces
In this lightning talk we share learnings from our work with the Reading Agency on the nationwide Summer Reading Challenge, which helped a broad range of audiences live meaningful STEM experiences through their own interest, choice of activities, and in spaces they are comfortable visiting. Andy will be joined by Lyn Connolly, National Science & Media Museum.
Biography
Andy is a Science Museum Group Academy Programme Leader, delivering training to teachers, STEM ambassadors and museum professionals. He's worked in informal learning for 14 years and is based at the National Railway Museum in York.
